Three People Arrested for Assault in Red Oak
(Red Oak) Three people face assault charges following an incident in Red Oak. According to the press release, the charges stem from an incident in the 1800 block of N. 4th Street on Saturday night. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested 35-year-old Micaela Morales and 35-year-old Douglas Walter Penry, both from Stanton, and 40-year-old Arthur Finton McCarthy of Ankeny.
Missing Page County Woman Found
(Clarinda) The Page County Sheriff’s Office reported that a missing Page County woman was found in a farm field. According to the press release, on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 8:21 p.m., Page County Communications received a call about a missing person. Deputies from the Page County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2074 Juniper in rural Clarinda, Iowa. They took a report of a missing 73-year-old woman. At 12:53 a.m., the woman was located in a bean field east of 2074 Juniper.
Corning man arrested on a felony Theft charge in Red Oak
(Red Oak, Iowa) – Police in Red Oak report an Adams County man was arrested Tuesday afternoon, on a felony charge of Theft in the 1st Degree (an amount greater than $10,000). 42-year-old Adam Lewis Schrodt, of Corning, was taken into custody at around 4-p.m. and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where his bond was set at $10,000. Red Oak Police were assisted in conducting the investigation and arrest, by deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities say additional charges may be filed by Adams County and the Des Moines Police Department.
