West Virginia opened the 2024 season with a 34-12 loss to Penn State on Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers got off to a slow start, and eventually fell behind after allowing a touchdown to end the first half and another one to start the second (after a long lightning delay). A late touchdown from CJ Donaldson was the only time the Mountaineers got into the endzone. EerSports was in attendance, both in the press box and on the sidelines.
