Butch Jones has plans for his post-coaching career and it sounds like a terrible idea

Former Tennessee Vols head coach Butch Jones, who is currently the head coach at Arkansas State, revealed earlier this summer that he has an idea of what his post-coaching career will be.

And I'm not sure it's the best idea.

Jones told Inside the Booth late last month that he would like to work in the media.

"So kind of in my next life, I want to get into media," said Jones.

Butch Jones working in the media would be hard to believe after some of his exchanges with reporters over the years.

At Tennessee, Jones developed a reputation for being thin-skinned thanks to some of his bizarre moments with reporters.

For example, there was the time Jones quickly ended his post-game press conference after an inexcusable loss to Vanderbilt in 2016 (which cost the Vols a shot at the Sugar Bowl), leaving his players to face the media.

Or how about the time that Jones lectured the media on how they were covering Tennessee's football program (this was the same day that Jones claimed Shy Tuttle suffered an injury when he "fell on a helmet", disputing a report that the injury was caused by a fight with a teammate).

Or how about just last fall when Jones seemingly called out Tennessee fans for the negative attention surrounding him at Arkansas State.

Might want to try another post-coaching career Jones. I don't think media is for you.
