What's Jets' Aaron Rodgers' 'Judgment' of Holdout Haason?

The New York Jets and edge rusher Haason Reddick are locked in a good, old-fashioned stand-off. Trust was broken on both sides of the fence, and neither side is giving an inch.

Speaking to the media on Tuesdaay at the Jets facility in Florham Park, four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers addressed the situation.

"There's always new things in the league,” Rodgers said. “I've been around 20 years. I've seen a lot of stuff. I think, as players, we always first try and side with the player because we know what it's like to be a player.

"Obviously, we'd love for him to be here, but we don't judge him for trying to do what's best for him. I think what's best for him is to be a Jet because this is gonna be a fun ride, but he's gotta make the best decision for him and his family.”

Rodgers knows that this is a make-or-break season, and having Reddick on the field with an already dominant defense is going to make Rodgers’ job presumably easier.

Reddick playing opposite Jermaine Johnson would make a dominant pairing for Gang Green. The Jets already boast one of the league’s best defenses, but Reddick puts them over the top to be league-beating.

Neither side is willing to budge right now, but to make this happen, both sides are going to have to give a little to get a little.

Hopefully it works itself out soon because Reddick crushing quarterbacks in a Jets jersey just sounds so darn good. ... to Aaron Rodgers and every other Jets lover.
