Kevin Durant Takes Luxurious Slide

Kevin Durant is on top of the world. Following Team USA's fifth consecutive gold medal finish in the Olympics, Durant earned his fourth. Following Team USA's Olympic takeover in France, the Phoenix Suns All-Star felt the need to take more, as Durant bought a minority stake in Paris Saint-Germain, the most successful futbol club.

Durant decided to take quite the slide to celebrate such a successful summer.

Durant needed a release from the 2024 playoffs, as the Suns fell to a 4-0 sweep at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round, despite the former team holding the regular season advantage. From there, the outlook for the aging superstar worsened, as the former Golden State Warriors NBA Finals MVP came into training camp with a strained calf.

Thankfully for both Team USA and Durant, the Suns' forward didn't miss a game during the Olmypics and played savior in the first Olmypic match vs. Serbia, as he shot an incredible 5-5 mark from the three-point line. Moreover, Durant finished the Olympics as Team USA's all-time leading scorer.

After a long, grueling summer, though, Durant made the most of it by winning gold and extending his business ventures.

Finally, Durant's ascension in status and basketball history ironically finished with a slide.
