    Teen injured in Aurora drive-by shooting

    DENVER ( KDVR ) — A teenager was injured in a drive-by shooting while at an Aurora bus stop on Thursday.

    At around 5:25 p.m., Aurora Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of South Sable Boulevard. The area is in the City Center neighborhood.

    According to police, a teenage boy was shot by a passing vehicle while sitting at a bus stop. He was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

    Aurora police do not know if the suspect and the victim knew each other.

    This is an ongoing investigation and police have not released information on the vehicle or the suspect at this time.

    However, anyone with information on the suspect or the incident is asked to call the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a reward.
