BURLINGTON, VT – The 2024 Vermont Decathlon State Championships would see two records set, for both the boy’s and girl’s individual winners.

Mount Mansfield’s Raf Campanile would set the state record in the pole vault, by 2 inches, now setting the high school mark at 14 feet, 11 inches. Part of his overall male championship.

On the girl’s side it was North Country Union’s, Sabine Brueck, scoring 5,755 total points, the most by any female at the decathlon championships all-time. Breaking a record last set in 2018.
