Chalmette man arrested for alleged possession of drugs, guns

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — A Chalmette man is facing several gun and drug-related charges following an investigation by the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit.

According to the SBSO deputies, on Friday, June 21, 38-year-old Timothy Kinkella was arrested on accusations of:

• Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and various prescription medications
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance
• Convicted felon in possession of a firearm
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Deputies said during an investigation they also found six firearms.

Kinkella was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison where he is being held on a bond of $446,750.
