Thanks to her solid reflexes, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese avoided what could have been a painful hit to the face before the WNBA All-Star Game even started.

Team WNBA was warming up before the All-Star Game at Footprint Center on Saturday. Reese was seen practicing from close range while her teammates were also putting up some shots.

Unfortunately, an Aliyah Boston shot hit the rim and bounced towards her, appearing like it was going to hit her face. Luckily, Reese evaded it at the last second.

The person recording Reese while practicing told the Sky All-Star that it could have been "real bad" had she not avoided the ball. The former LSU standout agreed, saying: "That could have been real bad."

For what it's worth, Aliyah Boston quickly came to Angel Reese to check on her. There was no harm done, though, and Reese continued with her warm-ups.

Hopefully, Reese will be able to stay safe throughout the game. Considering how competitive she is and how much she fights for rebounds, she's always going to be close to the ball.
