KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people are dead after a head-on crash in the Northland Sunday night.

According to the Kansas City Police Department, officers responded to the scene of a deadly crash near Northeast 42nd Street and Parvin Road in Kansas City, Missouri at about 8:20 p.m.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a Mitsubishi Outlander had been speeding eastbound on Parvin Road before crossing the double yellow lines and hitting a Ford Transit van head-on.
