The beach is currently in yellow flag conditions, indicating that ocean conditions are rough but not life threatening. Swimmers should exercise extreme caution due to potentially high surf or dangerous currents and undertows, according to the Bay County government website.

Winds are headed east between 5 and 10 mph. Showers are expected tonight before 11 p.m.

The National Hurricane Center is not tracking any disturbances as of Monday. Tropical cyclone activity is not expected over the next seven days. They are however monitoring two tropical waves in the Atlantic.

Multiple beaches are currently under a recreational water quality advisory. Check the Florida Department of Health website to see which areas are affected.
