A woman walking down Judkin Mill Road was stopped by officers on Saturday morning and ultimately went to jail when a search of her belongings turned up drugs and paraphernalia, per a Polk County Police report.

During the Saturday, August 3 incident, Cindy Michelle Lackey, 40, of a Cedartown address was stopped while walking down Judkin Mill Road. The officer asked for her identification – which she didn’t have – and then asked to conduct a search of her belongings.

Once looking inside of her bag after giving her consent, the officer found a paper towel wrapped tightly containing within pipes, suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.

Lackey was immediately taken into custody without further incident and onward to the Polk County Jail.

She was booked over the weekend on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession and use of drug-related objects.

Lackey remained in custody on a $4,000 bond as of this posting.
