Superintendents on the move: Vets and first-timers land new posts
A Texas leader has landed his fourth superintendency in this week’s moderately busy round of superintendents on the move. The Carroll Independent School District named Jeremy Glenn the lone finalist to replace retiring Superintendent Lane Ledbetter. Glenn, who is also a published author and university lecturer, has been superintendent of Granbury ISD for the past six years and previously led Waxahachie and Nacogdoches-Central Heights ISDs. Prior to his 17 years as a superintendent, he was an assistant superintendent at Trinity ISD.
South Central Lady Falcons Open Season With Win At Ramsey
The IESA junior high softball season is underway. South Central opened on the road with a trip to Ramsey and came away with a 9-5 victory. SC left no doubt scoring 5 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 7-0 lead early. Rylan Williams, Bella McDowell and Claire Chasteen drove in 2 runs each. Emmie Ruholl went 2-4. Annie Ruholl was the winning pitcher going 5.2 allowing 4 earned runs and striking out 9. Rylan came in for the final 4 outs.
McCollum Named Michigan City Superintendent
