A tornado warning was issued at 7:59 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph County, which went through 9 a.m., while a tornado watch was issued until 3 p.m. The tornado that passed through had high winds and heavy rains, and caused damage to some buildings, trees and properties in the area.

A Texas leader has landed his fourth superintendency in this week’s moderately busy round of superintendents on the move. The Carroll Independent School District named Jeremy Glenn the lone finalist to replace retiring Superintendent Lane Ledbetter. Glenn, who is also a published author and university lecturer, has been superintendent of Granbury ISD for the past six years and previously led Waxahachie and Nacogdoches-Central Heights ISDs. Prior to his 17 years as a superintendent, he was an assistant superintendent at Trinity ISD.
