    Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office reports

    Aug. 7

    - Kyle Vincent Brown, 38, of Newberg, was arrested on charges of strangulation and harassment. No bail was set and the case remains open.

    Aug. 8

    - Nathaniel Bradford Plath, 48, of Newberg, was arrested for felony DUII. No bail was set and he received an undisclosed sentence on the charge.

    - Michael Luther Johnston, 39, of Newberg, was arrested for fourth-degree assault and first-degree attempted sexual abuse. No bail was set and he received an undisclosed sentence on the charges.

    Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue calls

    Aug. 1

    TVF&R crews responded to medical first-aid calls on Brutscher Street, Haworth Avenue, Werth Boulevard, Hancock Street, College Street, Walnut Avenue, Main Street, Neumann Lane and Williams Street.

    Fire personnel responded to a barn fire on Hash Road, a residential fire on Third Street and a commercial fire alarm on Parks Drive in Dundee.

    Aug. 2

    TVF&R crews responded to medical first-aid calls on Otter Drive, Fifth Street, Sitka Avenue, Werth Boulevard, Creekside Lane, Portland Road, Ninth Street, College Street, Trestle View Court, Springbrook Road, Newall Road and Williams Street.

    Fire personnel responded to a commercial fire alarm on Fulton Street and a bark dust fire on Hancock Street.

    Aug. 3

    TVF&R crews responded to medical first-aid calls on Oak Meadows Loop, Blume Lane, Williams Street, Lynn Drive, Brutscher Street, Sam Parrett Drive and Benjamin Road.

    Fire personnel responded to a commercial fire alarm on Bina Drive, a brush fire on North Valley Road, a miscellaneous fire on Ribbon Ridge Road, a report of smoke in the area of Mountain Top Road and a request for public assistance on Fifth Street.

    Aug. 4

    TVF&R crews responded to medical first-aid calls on Trunk Road in Dundee, Dartmouth Street, North Valley Road, Aquarius Boulevard, Williams Street, College Street, Doris Drive, Quail Drive, Brooke Drive, Oak Meadows Loop, Villa Road and Fifth Street.

    Fire personnel responded to a bark dust fire on East Hancock Street, a natural gas leak on Main Street and miscellaneous fires on Canyon Lane, Main Street, Howard Street and Sheridan Street.

    Aug. 5

    TVF&R crews responded to medical first-aid calls on Brutscher Street, Werth Boulevard, Portland Road, Dayton Avenue, Haworth Avenue, College Street, Elliott Road, Hayes Street and Sierra Vista Drive.

    Fire personnel responded to a miscellaneous fire on Brooks Lane and a request for public assistance on Red Hills Road.

    TVF&R crews responded to medical first-aid calls on College Street, Burlington Drive, Greenlink Way, Brooke Drive, Morton Street and Brutscher Street.
