NFL superstar Travis Kelce has dropped another hint about his life after football.

Kelce is targeting a fourth career Super Bowl ring as the new NFL season gets underway on September 5.

He penned a two-year contract extension at Arrowhead Stadium over the summer, making him the highest-paid tight end in history.

Away from the field, the nine-time Pro Bowler is already pursuing a career in acting.

He is starring in the upcoming FX series Grotesquerie and will also appear alongside Adam Sandler in a sequel to the cult golf movie Happy Gilmore.

Kelce attended the Kansas City Sports Awards earlier this week, accepting a gong for Polsinelli Sportsman of the Year.

During his speech, the Chiefs fan favorite alluded to his recent forays into the entertainment world.

“Some of this stuff I can’t even fathom,” he told a packed-out audience at the Marriott Muehlebach Tower.

“Doing Saturday Night Live two years ago I had no idea that opportunity would even come across.

“I think it’s really just taking advantage of the opportunities that are at hand and not having a set-in-stone end for yourself.

“It’s just kinda being curious and being adventurous in different career fields knowing that football is going to end for everyone.”

“Except for [Chiefs assistant coach Steve Spagnuolo],” he added, to laughs.

Kelce opened up on his eventual retirement at this summer’s Chiefs training camp.

“Hopefully, that’s not anytime soon,” he said.

“It’s clear that I’m closer to the end of my career than the beginning.

“I need to ensure I’m prepared for life after football as well.”

NFL star Travis Kelce recently landed his first major acting role and has a new cameo

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end plans to become a “heavyweight” figure in music and entertainment.

Kelce has seen his star power rise after going public with his girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

The 34-year-old has now been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to land on FX this fall.

Kelce will appear in the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville.

In August, Adam Sandler confirmed Travis will make a cameo in his upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel.

The news comes after Travis previously showed interest in appearing in a possible reboot.

Kelce may have his eye on Hollywood, but he also has a number of other career ventures on the go.

The tight-end star is the new host of Amazon’s gameshow reboot, Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?

While he and his brother Jason recently penned a $100 million contract deal for their podcast New Heights.

Kelce’s star brand has skyrocketed since going public with girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

He joined Swift throughout her Eras Tour in Europe during the offseason.

    SCREEN TIME

The silver screen appears to be Kelce’s ultimate goal, with a source telling The U.S. Sun he is planning a “permanent role” after securing a role opposite Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2.

“Working on Sandler’s movies isn’t a small thing, it’s a massive opportunity,” the source said.

“He wants to make the best out of it and enjoy the experience at the maximum.

“Travis also wants to have a great time working on the movie, and be a sponge to learn everything he can during that experience.”

Kelce will be back to business as he lines up alongside Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense next Thursday.

The reigning Super Bowl champions get the season underway at Arrowhead against the Baltimore Ravens .
