    MPD looking for suspect, vehicle connected to Southeast DC robbery

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it needs the community’s help in finding a suspect and a vehicle connected to a Southeast D.C. robbery that happened on June 5.

    Police said that at about 12:05 p.m., the victim and the suspect were involved in an accident in the 3300 block of Alabama Ave.

    The suspect got out of his car, approached the victim and demanded money.

    He then took items from the victims’ pockets and car.

    The suspect left the scene in a car.

    MPD currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
