MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after they say marijuana edibles were given to 10 and 11-year-olds at Oakland Elementary.

Charges dropped against Fayette County school principal

According to officials, on March 28, they found edibles at the school that tested positive for THC.

Approximately six or seven kids ranging from age 10 to 11 allegedly received the edibles from another classmate.

Three students, all about the same age, are being charged in juvenile court with simple possession, the Sheriff’s Office said.
