Columbus Police searching for teen last seen near Buena Vista Road

COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Columbus Police are still searching for a teen who was reported missing July 31.

According to the Columbus Police Department, 17-year-old Skyler Wassmer was last seen near the 3700 block of Buena Vista Road. Wassmer was reported missing Jul. 31, but was seen again on Aug. 5, according to CPD.

Wassmer is described as standing 5-foot-7-inches tall with black hair, brown eyes and weighing about 100 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing black jogging pants, black slides and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call the CPD Special Victims Unit at 706-225-3449, lead investigator Sgt. Keven Moore 706-225-4384 or 911.
